Need some help getting over the hump this week? Check out one of the events below and leave time for a drink at Alley 26, where it’s Waikiki Wednesday! If you haven’t had one of their tiki cocktails or Chef Carrie Schleiffer’s tiki-themed dishes, you need to fix that right quick.

Guided tour of current exhibition: The SuperNatural

Join a 21c docent for a guided tour of their current exhibition, “The SuperNatural.” Described as “nature meets technoculture, and the new natural is both organic and artificial,” this exhibition sounds strange and amazing.

Brick + Mortar

The Unlikely Candidates

Black River Township

Doors: 7:00 PM

Show: 8:00 PM

All Ages

It was strangely difficult to find a good description for the headliner, Brick + Mortar, that wasn’t sort of vague- indie rock/electronic rock/alternative rock/drum and bass, etc…but one I did find simply read: “An Electro/Concrete/Psychedelic/Ghetto/Indie Rock from Asbury Park, NJ.” Now that sounds way more interesting. And of course, some good music has come out of Asbury Park. This should be a very interesting show. Check them out here:  See you at the Electro/Concrete/Psychedelic/Ghetto/Indie Rock show!

Joe Biden

Enjoy an evening with Joe Biden, our 47th Vice President, author, and the beloved Uncle Joe of a generation, in conversation with author Celeste Ng, as VP Biden discusses his political career, personal life, and perseverance. Give him a hug for us here at BCE.
