July 10-11: Durham Bulls vs Gwinnett Braves (plus fireworks, minions, and more!)

This weekend, the Durham Bulls are at home with two games against the Gwinnett Braves and some great in-park events!

The Bulls play the first two games of a three-game series against the Braves here at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The first night, July 10, is also the Bulls’ annual Swing for the Cure night, sponsored by Sport Durst Automotive. The Bulls will be wearing pink jerseys to raise awareness for the Susan G. Komen foundation. Want to support the foundation? There will be a silent auction during the game to take home a Bulls’ pink jersey (worn in the game!)

But that’s not all- your favorite grounds crew, the Diamond Cutters, will be performing! If you haven’t seen them yet, check out their “Uptown Funk” performance below:

And it wouldn’t be Friday without Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Bruce Hill of RE/MAX One Realty!

Saturday night is going to be a great in for baseball as well, with another game against the Braves. It’s Military Appreciation night presented by Kangaroo Express, so get to the game early so watch a rappelling unit and paraglider land in the park. Amazing! Thanks to all our servicemen and women for your sacrifices and the gift you’ve given our country.

For all the kids (and kids at heart), the Minions from Despicable Me will be at the game. You’ll have the chance to meet a minion and take a photo with them.

And last but not least, Saturday night at the DBAP means FIREWORKS! They’re not just for Friday night anymore! This year, after each 6:35pm Saturday home game, we’ll have a great fireworks show presented by JT’s Landscaping. Just one more reason to spend a gorgeous weekend night out at the game!
